PLAINVIEW, TX — Fifty-Nine 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ Baptist University students are scheduled to participate in commencement ceremonies at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Hutcherson Center on the university’s Plainview campus.
Dr. Cindy McClenagan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, will present the candidates for degrees to Dr. Donna Hedgepath, President, who will confer degrees. She will be assisted by Carole Harbison, secretary of 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ’s Board of Trustees.
Candidates for graduation include four students scheduled to receive doctoral degrees, 14 students set to receive master’s degrees, 40 students planning to receive bachelor’s degrees, and one student set to be awarded an associate’s degree. There are 42 candidates for graduation from Texas, nine candidates from six other states, and eight international students from six countries.
51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ Baptist University exists to educate students in an academically challenging, learning-focused, and distinctively Christian environment for professional success and service to God and humankind.
