PLAINVIEW, TX — 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ Baptist University welcomes prospective students and their families to Pioneer Preview, an on-campus preview day designed to help students explore academic options and experience campus life.
Pioneer Preview, which begins at 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, offers high school and transfer students a firsthand opportunity to learn about 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ through campus tours, academic exploration, and meaningful interaction with faculty, staff, and current students. Participants get to attend the Pioneer Showcase, featuring academic programs, financial aid information, and student support services.
“Pioneer Preview is the best way to see what your future as a Pioneer can look like,” said Holli Wauson, Director of Undergraduate Admission. “The day is designed to give you an inside look at student life, academics, athletics and spiritual life.”
Wauson said faculty and staff love getting to meet prospective students and tell them all about what makes WBU special. “We invite any high school or transfer students to come spend the day with us and let us show you what the Pioneer family is all about,” she said.
Throughout the day, students and guests have opportunities to meet professors, coaches, and representatives from financial aid, student success, housing, health services, spiritual life, student activities, the Honors Program, and the Pioneer Career Center. Lunch is provided for all participants and their guests, and the event is free to attend. Students interested in music may also schedule auditions with 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ’s School of Creative Arts.
