PLAINVIEW, TX — 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ Baptist University’s Homecoming 2026 celebration moves into its most activity-filled stretch Friday and Saturday, Feb. 20–21, with alumni gatherings, worship opportunities, athletic events and recognition ceremonies planned across campus.
Friday’s events begin with registration and coffee from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the Harral Auditorium north foyer. Alumni and guests are encouraged to register at and view the complete schedule at .
Homecoming Legacy Chapel at 11 a.m. in Harral Auditorium. Sara Diaz, a 2023 graduate who serves as coordinator for Baptist Student Ministries, which is funded by the Baptist General Convention of Texas, will join her father, Lazaro Diaz, a 1993 graduate, on stage as the featured speakers. The service is designed to bring alumni and students of all ages together at Homecoming 2026. Also, honor class alumni will be recognized, and Homecoming king and queen candidates will be introduced.
Campus attractions, including the Mabee Regional Heritage Center museums and the Malouf Abraham Family Art Gallery, will be open during the day, offering alumni opportunities to revisit familiar places and explore new exhibits.
Homecoming Headquarters will open in Gates Hall from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., providing information, fellowship space and campus tours departing at 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.
Athletics will also be a central part of Friday’s celebration. Pioneer baseball hosts Nelson University at Wilder Field with games scheduled at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., providing alumni and friends a chance to enjoy time together during this double-header at the ballpark.
Friday evening culminates with the Blue & Gold Awards Banquet at 6 p.m. in the Trinity Sanctuary. The banquet will honor this year’s Distinguished Alumna Cassie Mogg, Distinguished Young Alumna Carley Hardage Hunt, Alumni Educator of the Year Kenneth Walker, and Alumni Benefactors Noe and Irma Valles. Festivities continue Saturday with additional alumni events, athletic competitions and the presentation of Homecoming royalty.
