Tuition reduction makes Fall 2026 the best time to enroll

PLAINVIEW, TX — As Fall 2026 registration approaches, 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ Baptist University is highlighting a historic tuition reduction designed to open doors for more students seeking a high-quality Christian university education.

Beginning this fall, 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ’s undergraduate block tuition rate on the Plainview campus is 9.5 percent lower, reducing costs for full-time students taking 12–18 credit hours. Graduate tuition on the Plainview campus has also been reduced by more than 35 percent, bringing those rates closer to online graduate tuition and making advanced degrees more accessible.

University leaders say the initiative reflects a clear goal: helping students pursue their calling without unnecessary financial barriers.

“This is about access, opportunity, and momentum for students,” said Dr. Donna Hedgepath, president of 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ Baptist University. “We want families to know they don’t have to choose between affordability and a Christ-centered university experience. At 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ, they can have both — strong academics, meaningful community, and a price that makes sense.”

51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ’s block tuition model allows students to take a full academic load without additional tuition costs, encouraging timely graduation and maximizing value each semester.

Dr. Daniel Brown, vice president of enrollment management, said prospective students are already responding.

“When students realize what they can receive here — personal attention, academic quality, spiritual formation, and now an even stronger price point — 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ becomes a very compelling choice,” Brown said. “This is the moment to explore what 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ offers.”

The tuition reductions build on the university’s recent tuition freeze across campuses and online programs, underscoring a sustained commitment to affordability without compromising educational quality.
