International Registration Coordinator

LOCATION: 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ Baptist University (WBU) – Hybrid Remote/Plainview

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The International Registration Coordinator is a full-time position. Responsible to the Registrar and/or Associate Registrar/Office Manager for responsibilities assigned. The coordinator is responsible for representing 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ to all of the University's constituents in a positive manner.

SPECIFIC TASKS AND DUTIES:
1. Responsible for the oversight of all registration processes in conjunction with the Registrar and the Assistant Executive Director of International Programs.
2. Responsible for all aspects of the registration, roster, census, drop/withdrawal, grade, and end-of term processing of probation/suspension, award and grade distribution reporting.
3. Responsible for the supervision of process/deadline calendars for the international registration, International Graduate Bridge and other international registration-related processes.
4. Directly responsible for all International Registrations and processes (includes add/drops and withdrawals) as well as the International Programs.
5. Opens and closes registration for faculty and students across the system as well as updates registration groups.
6. Opens and closes grade posting for all faculty in the international program.
7. Monitors student enrollment process during registration.
8. Monitors submission of Grades for International Program sections.
9. Graduations: Coordinates submission of Senior grades and assists with the program and ceremonies.
10. Assists Faculty and campus personnel in the process of grade changes.
11. Supervises International Program section Schedule (input and quality
12. Census reporting (monitoring instructor attendance submission & contacting students for attendance).
13. Generate Student Status, International Program Registration reports (monitoring grade submission and mailings to students).
14. Notification to students and faculty of Calendar dates throughout the session.
15. Processes end-of-term reports for international programs (this includes mailing of Suspension/Probation letters)..
16. Provides input on registration, grade and other department procedures for international programs.
17. Coordinates work schedule and assign tasks for the student workers.
18. Responds to other directives of the registrar and assistant executive director of international programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A commitment to Christian Higher Education and in agreement with the purposes and philosophy of Christian Higher Education as promoted by the Baptist General Convention of Texas generally, and 51Æ·²èÔ¼ÅÚ Baptist University particularly.

Education:
1. High School Diploma required
2. Some college work preferred; however, proven office experience in a professional environment may be considered in lieu of college experience

Experience and Knowledge:
1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a professional office setting
2. Minimum of 4 years of computer experience and typing skills
3. Proven ability to meet the public and work well with others

Skills and Abilities:
1. Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
2. Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational, time management and critical thinking skills
3. Strong computer skills
4. Ability to learn and retain vast amounts of information from a wide variety of sources
5. The ability to deal diplomatically with students, faculty, and staff
6. Punctuality, dependability, integrity, honesty and loyalty in the performance of duties of the position
7. A positive force in the office by portraying a positive attitude toward other office personnel, in phone conversation and in greeting students, faculty and staff members

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Employment is subject to an introductory period to monitor employee performance. If hired, the prospective employee must present documentation within three (3) days of hire date to establish their identity and employment eligibility as required by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Employee must be able and willing to travel. Must be able to operate a licensed motor vehicle and possess a valid state driver’s license or have access to reliable transportation. Must have and maintain a satisfactory driver’s record.
